

Frank was born on June 19, 1950, in Oglesby, Illinois, to the late Pellegrino and Mary Angelo. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Margaret Dwayne Angelo; his daughter, Angela Nowakowski (Brian); stepson, Lonnie Peppers; grandchildren, Nyah, Cade, Alia, Megan, Hayden, and Garrett; great-grandson, Dawson; brother, George Angelo; and sister, Mary Janie.
Frank was known for his outgoing personality, loving nature, and deep devotion to his family and friends. He was everyone's friend. A talented and accomplished musician, Frank played the drums and led his own band during the 1970s, producing three albums in California. His passion for music was only matched by his love for his grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Pa."
He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970s and later retired from IBM after more than 20 years of service.
A memorial service with Army Honors will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
Frank will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and generosity—a truly irreplaceable soul.
