Georgia Bernice Pocian

Mrs. Pocian was born October 4, 1929 in Prescott, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pocian and by her first husband, Virgil Charles Buford.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Beverly Buford Pope & Charlie Pope of Texas; a son & daughter-in-law, John L. Pocian & Rosa Pocian of Cartersville; grandchildren, Amanda & Matt Pope of Valdosta, Melissa Pope of Dallas, TX, Christopher Pope of Vermont, Kristina Pocian and Kassidi Pocian both of Cartersville; great-grandchildren, Chase Pope and Tucker Pope both of Valdosta; a sister, JoNell Jones of Nevada and a nephew, Steve Jones of California.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon December 29th at 3:30 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lewis officiating. Entombment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 until 3:30 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.
