Harold Leroy Harris

Mr. Harris was born June 23, 1934 in Cherokee, County, the son of Walter White and Laura (Gramling) Harris, was employed for 36 years at Lockheed Corp., was in the Army National Guard and a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and Dewey Harris.

Surviving is his wife, Carole Harris of Cartersville, sons, Jeff Harris of Woodstock, Kevin Harris of Murfreesboro, a brother, Roger Harris of Chambersburg, Pa., grandchildren, Tyler Harris, Nick Peters, Kristen, Jacob and Eliza Harris and an aunt, Myrtle Gramling of Woodstock and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Cagle officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Gossett, Ronnie Hightower, Reuben Lowe, Tyler Harris, Haven Lewis, Drew Hightower and Nick Peters.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
