Helen Massey Haney

Mrs. Haney was born September 14, 1935 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late Luther Massey and Emma Nolan Massey.

She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and a retired machine operator at Union Carbide.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Doug Grizzle, and her band, Carlton Haney.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Russell and Janice Grizzle, of Wilmington, Delaware, her grandchildren, Meredith Grizzle, of New York and Gary Grizzle, of Atlanta, her sister, Barbara Wilkey, of Cartersville, three nephews, Mike, Dave and Steve Wilkey, and a special friend, Catherine Edwards, of Cartersville.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday from the Sunset Memory Gardens, with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday.
