Helen Ford Lee

Mrs. Lee was born February 2, 1922 in Crosby, Tennessee the daughter of the late, Rube David and Cora Jane (Clark) Ford. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at The Booth Western Museum, a member of Sam Jones united Methodist Church where she was a member of the Marco Sunday School Class and active in the Prime timers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mort Lee, a brother, Ricky Ford and two sisters, Jeri Koprowski and Jane Phillips.

Surviving are her children, Alan Lee of Knoxville, Tennessee, Linda and Rob McGlon of Cartersville, grandchildren, Trey Parker, Allie Lee, Gabrielle Lee, Haelie, Taylor and Hunter McGlon, Vivien Lee and Joey El Beck, great grandchildren Katelyn, Parker and Lola El Beck, a brother, Henry Ford of Ohio and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Burch and Rev. Nena Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4:30-7:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sam Jones United Methodist Church, 100 W. Church Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.
