Herbert Lee Goodwin

A long time member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Georgia, he enjoyed teaching various classes within the church and studying the bible.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carolyn Goodwin Woods of Euharlee, brothers Edward and Billy Goodwin, both of Taylorsville, and a nephew Jerry Tidwell.

Survivors include sisters Nell Tidwell and Mary Vance, both of Cartersville, brother-in-law Billy Woods of Euharlee, sister-in-law Gail Goodwin of Taylorsville, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved church family of Mt. Tabor.

A memorial service will be held on August 18th, 2024 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 3068 Old Alabama Road, Taylorsville, Georgia. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm and service at 3:00 pm.

The family would like to thank all the first responders that assisted in the death of our loved one. Special thanks to Mr. Billy Ward whose service has been invaluable to our family.
