He was a devoted father to three daughters, a proud grandfather of six, and a delighted great-grandfather to one—with another precious great-grandchild on the way.
Above all, Homer was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He served as a deacon in his church and lived his faith with quiet conviction, unwavering integrity, and a servant's heart. Homer found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved tending his garden and yard, traveling, driving an hour just to enjoy a memorable meal, and spending time reading God's Word. He was a respected member of his community whose kindness, wisdom, and strong faith touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
