Mr. Bradford was born on July 18, 1921 in Cartersville, GA, son of the late Samuel R. Bradford and Jessie Roberts Bradford.
Mr. Bradford proudly served his county in the United States Army during World War II and was also a long time member of the Cartersville American Legion. He was the owner and operator of The Bradford Store in Pine Log, GA. He later retired from Union Carbide. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of Sam Jones United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Donahoo Bradford; second wife, Sally Ross Bradford; daughter, Cathy Chitwood; sister, Elise Johnson; brothers, Allen, Hollis, Roberts and Willis Bradford.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna and Billy Cline of Cartersville; grandchildren, Bill and April Cline of Adairsville, GA, Kim and Chris Lee, Wendy and Tillman Fricks, Don and Glenda Cline, all of Kingston, GA and Adam and Allyson Chitwood of Jasper, GA; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday the 30th of January, 2017 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cline and Rev. Kevin Lobello officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Don, Josh, Jack and Jonah Cline, Chris Lee and Adam Chitwood.
