

Hui Chu (Kelly) Boice, 55, of Cartersville, GA, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7th, 2016, peacefully in her home after a long fight with cancer. She was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Tainan, Taiwan. She was married to Robert Boice, Jr., for 25 years. She moved to Hawaii with her husband and children, then to Georgia where she lived for 18 years. Kelly loved her family and her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong faith and testimony in Jesus Christ, her Savior. She had a loving, non-judging personality where everyone she met quickly became a friend. Never a handshake,always a hug. Kelly dedicated her life to serving others, even people she didn’t know. She never looked for recognition or rewards, she just wanted to help. She also had many talents that she used in her work and entrepreneurial endeavors. Kelly also loved to travel with her husband and spending time with all her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Robert L. Boice, Jr.; sons, Jeffrey (Georgia) Ping of Rexburg, ID, Robert L. (Valerie) Boice, III of Tomball, TX and Toby Boice of Boston, MA; daughters, Tiffany (Nate) Bird of Canton, GA, Claire (Herby Duverne) Boice of Woburn, MA and Abby Boice of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Makenzie, Alaina Lorelai and Eleanor Bird, Finley Boice, Jayden and Ashden Duverne and Violet Boice; brother, Rong Zheng Bing of Taiwan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at five o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cartersville with Bishop Mark Fleming officiating.
Visitation will be held from six o’clock in the evening until eight on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Owen Funeral Home.
