Isie Atherine McPherson

Mrs. McPherson was born October 20, 1924 in Bartow County, Georgia daughter of the late James Matthew Puckett and Frances Cordelia Puckett. She was a member and attended Gilmer Street Baptist Church and was retired from E-Z Mills. She was a loving grandmother who loved to sew for her grandchildren and do stuff for her family and babies. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lemon McPherson and by a daughter, Susan Diane McPherson.

Survivors include her children; Barbara (Hugh) Downey, Gaye (Harold) Siniard, Ronda (Ray) Wright, John (Judy) McPherson, Dennis McPherson; 11 grandchildren; Kaitlyn McPherson, who lived with her grandmother, Vicky Ayers, Bobby Moore, Jennifer Hyde, Kelly McIntyre, Elizabeth Williams, Geoff Downey, Chris Downey, Bryan Crain, Ashlyn McPherson and Moira McPherson; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, AnnaBelle.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon August 10th at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Geoff Downey, Chris Downey, Bobby Moore, Bryan Crain, Matt Hyde and Adam Williams.
