

Mr. Carruth was born on December 22, 1929 in Paulding County, son of the late Isom H. Carruth and Beatrice Thomason Carruth.
Mr. Carruth retired from Lockheed Martin, where he served as an Expeditor. In his spare time, he was an avid turkey and deer hunter.
He is preceded in death by his brothers-in-laws, Eural Perkins and Price Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-four years, Faye McDonald Carruth, daughters, Linda Soulis (Keith) of Cartersville, Gerri Crump (Carl) of Sugar Valley, Donna Gregory (Larry) of Cartersville, Lisa Anne Carruth of Cartersville and Lori Carruth Davis of Cartersville; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Carroll Carruth and Charles Carruth (Gail); sisters, Jean Perkins and Patsy Wilson; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Eddy Greene, Jason Greene, Wayne Toler, Ryan Johnson, Ken Carruth, Tim Wilson and Andy Wilson.
Visitation will be held from four o’clock in the afternoon until seven on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home.
