James "Eddie" Edward Lanier

Eddie was born June 9, 1987 in Cartersville, the son of Jimmy Lanier and Zina Stancil Lanier and was an Eletrician.

Surviving is his father and stepmother, Jimmy and Sheila Lanier, his mother, Zina Lanier, two sisters, Stephanie Lanier and Jaime Gantt , 2 brothers, Zachary Lanier and Josh Gentry, his fiance’, Kayla Akens, his grandparents, Tommy and Nancy Lanier and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Danny May officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Zach Lanier, Josh McGaha, Josh McCloud, Ben Stiles, Josh Gentry, Catlin Kensey, T.J. Hawkins and Michael Harrison.

Family members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
