Mr. James Otis Hacker

Mr. Hacker was born October 2, 1942 in Jefferson County, Alabama, a son of the late James Otis Hacker and Imogene Wells Hacker.

He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and a retired sales person.

He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Faye Lewis Hacker, daughters, Rene’ Maloney, of Cartersville and Marcia Sutton, of Canton, his son in law, Vince Sutton, of Canton, grandchildren, Jessica Maloney and Carolyn Maloney, Blake Sutton and Bri Sutton, his brother, Chuck Coffey, of Lufkin, Texas, sisters, Faye Garner and Lynn Shupe, both of Birmingham and Geanie Gillon, of Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010 from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McComb officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Hargett, J.B. Smith, Robert Thacker, Jerry Ware, Bill Alexander and Frank Roberts.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Friday.
