James Anthony Johnson

James is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ed Cochran; brother-in-law, Carlos Muniz. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carla Cochran Johnson; children, Heaven Johnson, Brandon (Courtney) Johnson; grandchildren, Brayden Johnson, Adyson Johnson; parents Maggie and Buddy Picklesimer; mother-in-law, Nettie Cochran; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark (Cindy) Coleman, Allison Muniz, Eddie (Dana) Cochran, Portis (Kevin) Law; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Peeples Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Bailey and Rev. Michael Stork officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of James to Family Savings Credit Union: attention Marshelle Walker.
