James Hugh Johnson

James Hugh Johnson,82, of Sugar Valley Rd. Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Saturday ,May 14,2016 in Cartersville, Ga. Mr. Johnson was born December 18,1933 in Pine Log ,Georgia, son of the late William C. Johnson ,and Bertie Ross Johnson. He was retired from Good Year Mills as a mechanic. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother W.C. Johnson. Mr. Johnson enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by his family.

Survivors include his daughter Regina Ann Ray of Cartersville, Ga. Two Sons James Anthony and (Carla) Johnson and William Lester Johnson, of Cartersville, Ga. Also Two Sisters Maggie and (Buddy) Picklesimer and Grace and (Aaron) Tatum of Cartersville, Ga., 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Bailey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens Cartersville, Ga.

Visitation will be Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Owen Funeral Home 12 Collins Drive Cartersville, Ga.30120.

Pallbearers include Jerry Allen, Terry Johnson, Kenneth Tant , Austin Tant, Daryl Johnson and Andy Johnson.
