James E. Radford Sr.

Mr. Radford was born February 13, 1936 in Benton, Tennessee, the son of the late, Isam Frank and Lecie Ann (Burris) Radford, was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Connie Radford, a sister, Margaret Cox and a brother, Claude Radford.

Surviving is his son and daughter in law, James, Jr., and June Radford of Acworth, daughter and son in law, Barbara and Carter Burks of Rydal, two grandchildren, Brittany Radford an Jessica Worley, two sisters, Clara Landrum of Cartersville, Unive Ellis of Acworth, a brother, Paul Radford and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Summey officiating.

Burial will follow in Macedonia Primitive Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
