Janett Elaine Martin

Mrs. Martin was born June 6, 1948 in Cartersville, Georgia, daughter of the late Herman Knight and Lillie Mae Lanham Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tracey Madden; a brother, James Lamar Knight; a sister, Joyce Louise Jenkins; a brother-in-law, Freddie Perry.

Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Danny & Michelle Martin of Taylorsville, Rodney & Mandy Martin of Cartersville; a daughter, Karen Waits of Cartersville; brothers, Jerry Don Knight and wife Ethel of Cartersville, Joel O. (Sonny) Knight and wife Wanda Evansville, Ind.; sister, JoAnn Perry of Cartersville, sister-in-law, Janet Knight of Cartersville, brother-in-law, Ronald Layton Jenkins of Cartersville; grandchildren, Devin Lochridge, Blake Stewart, Levi Stewart, Nicholas May, Kristen Martin, Adam Martin, Tiffany Waits, Bradly Madden, Jonathan Martin, Bryce Martin; great grandchildren, McKinnley Bell Lochridge, Madlynn Lochridge, Nolan Lochridge.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 21st at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Devin Lochridge, Blake Stewart, Levi Stewart, Nicholas May, Jonathan Martin and Bradly Madden.
