Jayne Beck Kadum

Jayne had a keen sense of style for everything from interior design, to her choices for personal style, always choosing bright colors and bold prints. Jayne was always strong in the face of trials, passing that trait along with her children and husband. She was a proud mother and grandmother, and a devoted wife, always steering her family in the right direction. She enjoyed constantly being surrounded by family having everyone come together throughout summers in Saint Simons, and everyone coming together every holiday and preparing all the food. Jayne would always go above and beyond the call of duty, doing so happily. Her family was able to promise her we would carry her torch and live the way she taught us. Although she would tell everyone not to make a fuss about her death we have chosen to stop in her honor and celebrate her life for being such a magnificent woman.

Jayne is survived by her husband Fareed Zakeer Kadum, her brother Milo Hoyt Beck, and her children Karis Kadum Morneau, Jason C. Kadum, Geoffrey Hunter Kadum, and Hannah Kadum Rickles, as well as five grandchildren Sarah Jane Morneau, Madison Paige Morneau, Megan Kennedy Morneau, Zachary Jackson Kadum, and Preston Knox Kadum

Jayne was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Mae Beck, father Manuel Hoyt Beck, sister Patricia L Moses, and brother Manuel Ricky Beck.

John 14:1-3

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

A memorial service for Jayne will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home in the Chapel, those who wish to share a special story will be welcome to do so. An Irish Wake will be held at Cartersville Country Club following the service. A private family burial will occur at Sunset Memory Gardens Tuesday, July 24th, 2018.
