Jean Owen Hodge

Mrs. Hodge was born April 20, 1931 in Bronx, New York, a daughter of the late Frank Mora and Dorothy Hall Mora.

She was a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and a homemaker.

She was a Past President of the Cartersville Service League and Past President of the Ladies Golf Association at Cartersville Country Club.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Owen and her second husband, James Hodge, she is survived by her son and daughter in law, Steve and Erin Owen, of Cartersville, her daughter, Dian Armentrout, of White and her son and daughter in law, Glen and Meredith Owen, of Decatur, her grandchildren, Joe Owen, Jon Owen, Adam Wade, Addison Owen and Ellis Owen and her great grandchildren, Carter Owen, Miles Owen and Kynlee Wade.

Graveside services were held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2012 from the Oak Hill cemetery with Scott Thompson officiating.
