I work with Dawn at the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, Dawn was amazing beautiful person inside and out, Dawn always had a smile and hug for you, she could make a bad day just a little better when she would crack a joke and make us all laugh. Dawn my LEO sister and friend you will be missed by many and loved by all. Thank you for letting us get to know you. R.I.P. and know we have the thin Blue line from here👮

Dawn and I worked together at Cartersville Middle School in the cafeteria. I can tell you that she is the poster child for perseverance. I seen Dawn face things that were difficult and jumped each hurdle higher than I ever could. Dawn loved her children and always seen they came first. Dawn always loved to bake and if she knew you liked something she would show you she loved you by baking it and surprising you with it. I will always cherish the times I got to work with Dawn and am honored to call her my friend.
To her children, let her example of a never give up attitude help you through this difficult time and please remember that Dawn is not in your past she will be in your future. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and after conversations and prayers with Dawn I know she is at rest with him. God Bless You. Tracy Shook

I am truly sorry for your loss!! Dawn was a great friend, sister, and co-worker. We worked together in the lunchroom at CMS. I knew her when she moved here to Cartersville. Her kids and my kids were friends. She started working in the cafeteria and we just became friends...then more like sisters! She was my shoulder to lean on as I was hers. She is gonna be greatly missed. Prayers for all the family, friends, and co-workers.
