

Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mamie Elizabeth Tidwell Worley, who passed in 2010; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wallace Worley (Bessie), Clyde Worley (Irene), Claude Worley (Vora Mae), Bobby Worley, L.P. Worley Jr., M.L. Worley (Willie Mae), Earl Worley (Gail), Edward Worley, Bob Keys; sisters, Kathleen Worley, Vivian Dabbs (Neal), Doris Jolly (Hoyt), Ovilee Howard, Ruby Cagle (George), Ruth Keys, Christine Teems and Esther Worley.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Perry Worley (Sandra) of Cartersville, GA, and Scott Worley (Rhonda) of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Megan Worley (Dakota), Zackary Worley, Drake Worley (Katie), Garrett Worley (Kaitlin), Jennifer Glitz (Andrew), Justin Escue, and Dakota Martin; great-grandchildren, Lawson Worley, Scarlett Worley, and Isaiah Bunch; sisters-in-law, Nellie Mae Worley and Martha Worley; along with several nieces and nephews.
Glenn was a lifelong resident of Cartersville, having lived on the same road his entire life. He retired from General Motors with 33 years of service. Glenn was a dedicated member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He had a passion for NASCAR, yard work, and westerns. He also had a big sweet tooth. Glenn and Mamie enjoyed traveling together before her passing and in their younger years were active members of the Bartow County Saddle Club, where they relished trail riding, camping, and spending time outdoors.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home. On Friday, March 14, 2025, the family will gather at 1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Glenn’s Life at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home, with Bro. Clinton Green and Bro. Jody Orton officiating. Glenn will be laid to rest beside his loving wife, Mamie, at Sunset Memory Gardens.
