

Mr. Rampley was born December 22, 1937 in Bartow County, the son of the late, Clyde and Deloma Elkins Rampley. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the Cartersville Masonic Lodge #63 F. & A.M. , he is a Shriner belonging to the Yaarab Temple, a member of the American Legion and is a member of Atco Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Lucy Rampley of Cartersville, son and daughter in law, Terry and Judy Rampley of White, daughters, Sherry and Dewayne Wilson of Euharlee, Tammy Mullinax of Canton and her fiancé Michael Miller, former son in law, Chris Mullinax of Cartersville, grandchildren, Brandon Williams and Julie, Brett Rampley and Meagan, Aaron Rampley and Danielle, Clete Mullinax, Camree Mullinax, Kaylee Wilson, step grandchildren, Chad Wilson and Ashley ,great grandchildren, Kegean and Kadence Williams and Elle Brooke Rampley, brother in law and sisters in law, Harold and Glenda Massey, Tommy and Kitty Massey, Ida Mae and Charlie Carden, Dianne Cannon, nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Curlee, Rev. Charles Ivey and Roy Chambers officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Howard Howell, Jimmy Morris, Jack Galloway, George Bean, James Vance, W.T. Evans, Sonny Rampley and Roy Chambers.
