Jody Todd Lockhart

Jody was a dedicated member of the Sons of the American Legion for many years. But to those of us who knew him, he was so much more than a member—he was family. He was a friend, a familiar face, and someone who became a special part of our Legion family. His absence will be felt deeply by so many.

We invite all of Jody’s friends, fellow members, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him to join us at American Legion Post 42 on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM as we come together to celebrate his life and honor the memories he left with us.

The bar will be open, and most importantly, the family is asking that those who knew Jody come and be there with them. If you feel comfortable, please share a story, a memory, or a few words about Jody. Hearing the impact he had on the lives of others will mean more to his family than you may realize and can be a meaningful part of their healing process.

This will be a time to remember Jody—not simply with sadness, but with the stories, laughter, memories, and love that made him such an important part of our lives.
