John Billie Hughes

Mr. Hughes was born March 22, 1931 in Bartow County, Georgia son of the late Tom Hughes and Elizabeth Clure Hughes. He was retired from C.W. Matthews and was a member of Autrey Baptist Church. Mr. Hughes loved his job and his family.

Survivors include his wife; Evelyn Maddox Hughes, to whom he was married to for 55 years; a daughter, Cecelia Petty; a granddaughter; Tanya Gravley; a great-grandson, Cane Henderson; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 4th at 2:00 P.M. at Autrey Baptist Church with Rev. Loy Frix and Marshall Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth, Ga.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Autrey Baptist Church.
