John has been my best friend (closer than a brother to me) since we were freshmen together at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Georgia. We stayed best friends until he passed away.
We shared some great times at Reinhardt, always pulling tricks on each other. One time at Reinhardt I was pulling a wagon with a tractor there (I worked on the farm crew). It was raining very hard, and John was riding in the wagon. I drove over every pot hole in the unpaved road, with John bouncing around in that wagon, shouting for me to stop. Of course I drove faster.
I could not have found a better friend. RIP, my brother!

John was my only sibling, and I miss him so much. No one else can fill that place in the heart, or share those memories from long ago.
