John was born on October 26, 1982 in Rome, Georgia. He was the son of the late John Michael (Mike) Johnson Sr. and Ms. Adeana Johnson of Rome, Georgia.
John was a devoted Christian family man, avid sports collector, and diehard Florida Gators fan. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. His unwavering faith in God served as a guiding light for all who knew him. John was a dedicated member of Crosspoint City Church, where he found solace, support, and a deep sense of purpose.
However, it was within his family that John truly shined. He was a loving husband to Elizabeth (Libby) Suzanne Johnson, a devoted father to Caleb Michael Johnson, Gavin Christopher Johnson, Izabella Marie Johnson, Barrett Thomas Starcher, Sailor Rae Johnson, and Opal Faye Johnson. His love knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with his family, creating lasting bonds that will be treasured forever. Libby and the children will continue to carry on his legacy of strength and kindness within their community.
To find a representation of humility, compassion, and sincerity, you had to look no further than John Johnson. Never did he meet a stranger and was always eager to help those around him. His laughter was infectious and he always had a smile no matter the circumstance. No doubt John will be sorely missed, but those fortunate enough to have met him will cherish the memories that he leaves behind forever.
John is also survived by his mother, Adeana Johnson and sister, Brooke Johnson both of Rome, Georgia.
A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Crosspoint City Church, 325 Old Mill Road, Cartersville, Georgia on November 12, 2023 at 5 P.M.
The family has requested all in attendance wear green in honor of John’s favorite color.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe to assist the family during this difficult time.
