My favorite memory of Juanita comes from my childhood. I was sick (with the mumps, I believe). Mom had taken me to the doctor and then stopped at Blue Star. I stayed in the car and lay in the back seat while Mom went in to get a few items. When Juanita found out I was sick, she came to the car, bringing a coloring book, crayons, and items such as gum and candy. Such a nice memory of her kindness.
