Kathleen Bryant Mulkey

Mrs. Kathleen Bryant Mulkey, 93, of Cassville, GA passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Kathaleen was born April, 19, 1926 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Mr. John Preston Bryant and Mrs. Millie Jane Stanley Bryant.

Kathaleen was a devoted mother and a faithful wife to her husband of 55 years, Rev. Bishop Truman Mulkey. She was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Kathaleen supported her husband while he pastored Dempsey Loop Chapel in Adairsville, GA for twenty plus years until his death. She was well known for her musical talents in the gospel genre. She was a devout Christian who loved her Savior and her family. Kathaleen will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathaleen is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Margaret "Marty" Jane Martin, grandson, Jerry Dean Martin, grand daughters; Amy Michelle James and Jolene Dallas Smith and grand son, Truman Wesley Mulkey. Five siblings also precede her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Kay (Bill) Qualls, Linda (Kenny) Smith. Kathaleen also leaves a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive to cherish her memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Fellowship Church Creekside, Cartersville on July 20, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon with the Rev. Mike Abernathy officiating
