

Kenneth was born on October 29, 1936 in Independence, KY, son of the late Clayburn Ross and Kathleen Rose Ross.
Kenneth retired from Caterpillar after thirty plus years of dedicated employment as a diesel mechanic. Kenneth loved to work with his hands and had the ability to fix anything. He restored many antique cars and was a former member of the CHVA Car Club. He loved to play Bluegrass Gospel music on his mandolin for local nursing homes. He was a family man and his whole world revolved around his loving wife of thirty-four years, Dianna Ross and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremiah Ross; sisters, Betty Race, Jerry Turner, Mary Alice Setters; brother, Jack Ross.
Survivors include his wife, Dianna Ross; sons, Doug Ross (Lisa) of Kentucky, Kenneth Wayne Ross (Renee) of North Carolina; daughters, Lona Carol Rose of Kentucky, Sherry Steinmetz (Will) of Kentucky, Melissa Hill (Craig) of Fairmount, GA; step-daughter, Susan Dover (Todd) of Cartersville, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Imogene Fisk of Kentucky and Pat Dark of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 26th of January, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James, Rev. Ronnie Richardson and Rev. Jon Goltz officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Providence Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Ross, Scott Ross, Toby Wiles, Todd Dover, Todd Setters and Danny McCormick.
Honorary Pallbearers are James Lamp, Zack Knox, Jimmy Stokes and Gage Hardesty.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour on Saturday, the 26th of January, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home.
