

Kevin Thomas Ingram, age 42, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Kevin was born March 1, 1982 to Hubert and Betty Sue (Lochridge) Ingram. From the time he could hold a bat, Kevin was an avid baseball player, playing through the Cartersville Little League program and continuing into his high school years at Cartersville High School. Kevin transferred to Woodland High School during his junior year and graduated with honors in 2001. He continued his education at Berry College where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in international business with minors in Spanish and political science. Kevin earned a master’s degree in business from Georgia State University. He was also a champion saddle set horseback rider and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Kevin was a walking testimony for Jesus Christ, sharing his faith to everyone in his path. He spent a lot of time working out at The Rock Fitness, sharing his testimony and fellowshipping with the members. Kevin loved the Lord and enjoyed being known as “Kev da Rev” to the many who received his weekly devotional entitled Bible Food for Thought & Shout Out. Kevin signed off each one with Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, as one Christian does another”.
Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard and Blanche (Corbin) Ingram and Paul and Janie (Ballard) Lochridge and his aunt, Gail Ann Lochridge. He is survived by his parents Hubert and Betty Sue Ingram, his sister Amy (Mike) Heater, nephew J.P. Heater, aunts and uncles Daniel (Paige) Lochridge and Nancy (Robert) Rody, cousins John Lochridge, Katie (Zach) Claxton, Betsy Lochridge and Gracie (Matthew) Greene, in addition to a number of extended family members. Kevin also leaves behind his beloved pug, Miss Georgia Belle.
Zach Claxton, Travis Forsyth, Jeff Geisen, Matthew Greene, Mike Heater, and Daniel Lochridge will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Bond, John Lochridge, Robert Rody, Landy Shropshire and Friends from The Rock Fitness. The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Owen Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
