Mr. Compton was born on February 3, 1952, in Asheville, North Carolina, to Mr. Hugh and Mrs. Maxine Compton.
Mr. Compton is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mrs. Monique Compton.
He is also survived by his parents, as well as his daughter, Mrs. Kathleen (Timothy) Crawford and Mr. Sean Compton.
Per Mr. Compton's wishes which he expressed during his life, no formal services will be conducted.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Compton's family humbly asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in his memory (link below).
