I am so sorry for your loss.  I can’t believe my friend is gone. I miss him but I’m satisfied knowing he is healed and walking with our Savior.
I’d like to think that he’s up there reading endlessly and eating his favorite authentic Italian cuisine and of course his sweets. He was my mentor and someone I like to call my friend. I admired him and his bravery. I loved hearing those beautiful stories of yalls travels. And off course how much love he has for you and his other two girls. 
I will miss our times but will cherish them forever.  
I have been praying for you all to have peace and comfort.

As someone who visited often but didn't know him as well as I had always hoped I would, I truly hope you guys are doing well in these trying times. I know it's hard, and I truly hope he left some amazing memories for you all. 

I didn't know my own grandfather very well, so I was always incredibly thankful to be able to visit and see Leon on the rare occassions I was able to. He was always very happy and inviting, and I don't think I ever saw him frown in the 11 years I've known you all. It was such a nice feeling being able to see him!

I'm keeping you all in my prayers, Leon included, and I truly believe he's happy and prospering.
