Linda Jo Trentham

Linda Jo Trentham, 70, of Bishop Drive, Cartersville, died Monday, August 4, 2014. Mrs. Trentham was born October 20, 1943 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late Howard Wilson, Sr. and Blanche Hartness Wilson.

She was a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church and was retired. Linda was extremely interested in genealogy and was a longtime member of the Etowah Valley Historical Society. She was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be missed greatly.

Survivors include her husband, Dale E. Trentham, her son, Jeff Trentham, of Cartersville, brothers and their wives, Howard Wilson, Jr. and Mary Alice Wilson, of Acworth, Paul and Rebecca Wilson, of Cartersville, Jack and Sue Wilson, of Cartersville and Randy and Debra Wilson, of Cartersville, sisters and their husbands, Barbara Payne, Faye and Ronny Smith and Marie and Pete Van Linden, all of Cartersville, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 P.M. Thursday, August 7, 2014 from the Georgia National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Pate, Ron Smith, Robbie Epps, Keith Wilson and Cliff Martin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 till 11:45 A.M. Thursday.
