Lisa Marlene Smith

Lisa Marlene Smith, 59, of Cartersville, GA passed away Friday December 8, 2017. Lisa is the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Ellen Duncan Smith and Mr. George Douglas Smith. Lisa was born in Douglasville, GA on December 27, 1959.

Lisa was an angel of God. She loved her family and greeted each day with a smile. She loved Judge Judy and her plush animals. She was ready to be reunited with her mother and her savior.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Mary Ellen Duncan Smith and Mr. George Douglas Smith and brother, Tim Smith.

She is survived by her sister, Tracey Smith, brothers; Skippy Smith, Steven Smith and Stanley Smith, brother-in-law, Jeff Carroll and wife Zada Carroll. Many nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Lisa's memory.

Funeral services for Lisa will be held at Owen Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at two o'clock in the afternoon. Serving as a pallbearer will be Skippy Smith. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville, GA.

The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
