Louise Ciarloni

Louise DiMeo Ciarloni – Age 99, passed away on March 15, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1926, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late James and Mary Aiello DiMeo. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Anthony Ciarloni and her brother, Lucian DiMeo.

Louise is survived by her son, Robert Ciarloni (Debra Kay) of Indio, CA; daughter, Susan Civitello (Anthony) of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Michael Civitello, Esq. (Sara), David Civitello, PhD (Jenna), Kristy Bucklar (John), Brianne Londono (Patrick) and Jessica Ciarloni; great-grandchildren, Luca, Nico, Gio, Danika, Presley, Grace, Christian, Elijah, Brooklyn, and Ryann; sister, Candida Simeone of Fort Myers, Fl and sister-in-law, Diane Adam of CT.

Louise was of “The Greatest Generation”. She graduated from Hamden High School Class of 1944 and then attend school to be a nurse anesthetist. She then worked in the field of oral surgery for over 35 years. Following her career as a nurse anesthetist, she continued as a substitute school nurse until her retirement at the age of 85. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, pinochle, bridge, cooking and entertaining. She and her husband loved vacationing in Hawaii, Maine, Italy and Florida. In her retirement years, Lousie and Anthony enjoyed their time in Fort Myers, FL but most of all spending time in California and Georgia visiting their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral mass for Louise Ciarloni will be held at St. Frances of Assisi Church, 850 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, GA on Monday March 23rd at 11am, followed by a luncheon at the church.
