

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Opal Moore; husband, Harold Fowler; granddaughter, Ansley Fowler. She is survived by her son; Boyd (Amanda) Fowler; stepsons, Michael (Tracy) Fowler and Matt (Gail) Fowler; grandchildren, Baker Fowler, Katie (Kurt) Hufstetler, Jessica Maybern, Jake (Crystal) Hill, and Jessica (Josh) Sewell.
Lynn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Born and raised in Cartersville, she was deeply active in the community she loved. A proud Purple Hurricane, Lynn was a member of the CHS band, where she played trombone, and she continued sharing her musical gifts later in life, playing for more than five years with the Etowah Jazz Society.
Her outgoing personality serves her well during her more than 40 years as a member of the Pumphouse Players. Lynn dedicated her life’s work to helping others as a registered nurse, serving at various hospitals and nursing homes throughout her 38-year career.
Lynn was also a devoted member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension for over 40 years, where she joyfully sang in the choir for more than eight years.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Episcopal Church of Ascension 205 W Cherokee Ave, Cartersville, GA with Rev. Alex Dyer officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday June 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension 205 W Cherokee Ave, Cartersville, GA 30120 in memory of Lynn.
