It's been a while. It's been very busy year. I light this candle in your memory and how I miss you so much. Especially your Christmas dinners. Brother is fighting the fight now. I pray everyday God will lay his hands on him to rid this cancer as well as Jamie's.

I'm not doing good today. It's been a tough couple of weeks with me being on travel. I want to go home. And I want you to be there when I do get home. I miss you and love you deeply.

Talked to Sandy Burkholder and apparently "Bones" missed his Angel flight and decided to stay back on earth for additional stay. But Angels came to get him last Friday 16th.  Angel flights to Heaven are on a delay at Arlington VA, so it'll be awhile before he arrives. I'm sure you're preparing for his arrival.  

I'm having tough time but I will be ok.... eventually. Missing you!!!

Almost did it again....dial the phone to call. Wished Heaven had phones. Hope you, dad and Don are reminiscing over good times.

I was thinking about you today and decided to light a candle in your honor. Things are okay, just still struggling with you not being here. Mom, I love you and miss you.

Nugget took sick after you let our world. I think that he did because he missed you. I did my best to keep him healthy and well taken care of, but I knew that he needed to be with you. He was my buddy from the time I came home from work until I left to go back to work. Nugget found a place on my bed next to me and he would not move until morning. Just like he did with you while sitting in your chair. Well now he is with you. I told Laura, Sharon and Sammy about Nugget and they agree that you two were made for each other.  Take care of our spoiled brat. We will see each other again. Hopefully he won't try to bite me again. LOL

Nugget been missing you since your passing. Well today, nugget was lifted up to you in the heavenly skies. He will snuggle in your lap once again in eternal life. Just for your heavenly birthday too.

Good Morning Grandma ~ I spend a lot of these passing days with you on my mind. Today, I woke with the sun shining on my bed. Thru the drapes, the rays for the first time ever shined in my face. I overslept a little bit past sunrise, must have been your doing. The day I have been dreading is here. Happy, Emotional, Sad, Exhausted, is a good bit of how I been feeling these days. But this morning I felt calm, and proud. I remembered our conversation, oh so many years ago, in a time I had my first child. You told me, I would make a good mother, because of everything I did growing up, would allow me to see right thru them. (You was right on being able to see thru them..lol) The day I sat at your kitchen table and cried, over Austin having a stroke, and possibly suffering long term damage. The days I cried at your table or on the phone, because I was so exhausted of having to fight schools, get tutors, keep him encouraged, get him the help he needed in school to get past this learning disability. You kept it simple, yet encouraging. "Marie, you keep fighting, because you will get him there. If anyone can make a change you will do it" Well, today that journey comes to an end, and we prepare for the next journey in his life. You was right, I would get my child(ren) to graduation! And today, the first one will walk across the stage with honors and graduate! I couldn't be more proud of him, and all that he has been thru, and who he is becoming. I know you always wanted to see the children graduate. I wish you was still here to share in this day with me and my children. In a way, I know you are watching. So maybe you can help me not look like the overly emotional mother at graduation...lol. I just wanted to tell you thank you for the faith you always had in me. I did it, HE did it and today your great grandson will graduate from high school, and will be heading the fire academy in the fall to become an Firefighter/EMT. I will be the very proud mother of a First Responder. Funny, how the worst experiences of our lives, has embarked the choices of my children's careers as they go on to live their own life. (House Fire) I miss you every day, and wish you could be here. You should be here. I love you and please watch over Austin as he enters the next phase of his life as an Firefighter. Keep him safe, guide him to do right as he has been taught, and don't let him get his heart broke. I love you.

Dedication ceremony and unveiling room will take place later this morning. Feel Dad guided me in this project so we can always visit mom. Dad always treated her as a queen, so we will honor and remember her as one. This closure to chapter of life of mom for all to return to read later. Love you and miss you!!

Hi Mom.....met with Hospital foundation President today.  Huntsville hospital still speaking of the contribution that was made in your honor and memory. Had no idea this would make such a large impact to hospital  respiratory unit. I learned today this unit doesn't get much contribution or recognition. So I'm overwhelmed with emotions that this impacted these special people, which will allow them to pay it forward with their care.  Unveiling of your room on agenda soon, honoring your memory forever. Nothing less for you Mom. Love you!!

Hi Mom. Had special but emotional day today. Meet with nursing staff and your physical therapist who had taken care of you during hospital stays. They were commended during pinning ceremony to which brother and I were part of.  Your tech Caleb and Nurse Ashley received their caring pins. Marian , your therapist received one too. We soon will be dedicating  room 567 in your memory.  This sponsorship will keep you close, but also contribute equipment to continue giving superb care.  Thought you would like that. I've been working on this since your passing, and was the glue that kept me strong.....till today. Miss you and hope you're proud !!!!  Love you to the Heavens.

God calling his children, and another Angel coming home. Kathy Idol....Vincent and Mason's grandma. She brought boys to say their goodbyes to you. Such strong boys. I'm still missing you and wake with tears on my pillow most nights. Look out for those boys as you have better view than I do. Love you Mom as always.

Feeling lost these days since you left us. I was told to find a happy place. I'm still looking for it.

Started my morning hearing Vince Gill on the radio. Made me think of you. I miss you and I love you lots!

Brother and I visited you on New Years. It was nice drive and good quality time.  Made you arrangements of roses. Remembered you liked my arrangements. Still missing you terribly!!!! Love you.

Tis reason for season Merry Christmas!!  And you're celebrating with our heavenly Father and family. Days still not easy !!!  But know you're looking after brother and I like a mother does. Miss and love you.

Brother and I had dinner together tonight. Have to make sure he's eating. Sat in your room and your sitting/TV room for awhile. For a minute there I thought Wheel of Fortune was on. (Your favorite show). TV was off though but your presence in your chair. Not ready to clean your room yet. I'm sure you will get me ready. Unsure when this will get easier.

I know that you are in a better place and enjoying your time with dad however it hasn't been easy for me with you not being here. I miss you mom. I love you very much.

Its been a month, and I miss you dearly. I think of you so often, as I always have. Wishing I could rewind time, and have those picnics again with you and Aunt Max. I miss those days and always have.  I hope you and Papa are enjoying your time again.  I love you the most!

Though next week we will be closing guest book,  you'll never be forgotten. My heart still heavy and miss you terribly!!

It's been 3 weeks since you left us. I miss you so very much! I wish you was still here with us! I made Mexican Chicken tonight,  and no matter how many times I make it, this dish will never be as good as yours! I love you grandma, and how I wish I could hear your voice.

It's been a week today, since you went home. The last time, I heard you say, I love you. I really miss you. Saw your name/number/picture in my phone today as I was scrolling thru to find the number I needed. I stopped on your name, wishing heaven had phones. I wish I could hear you again. Missing you today, as I was yesterday, and as I will be tomorrow.

Grandma, tonight was your viewing. Your looked beautiful as always. Simple it was, you liked simple. Family gathered and as always you are the glue that kept us together. I always saw you being here forever, and in a way, you still are. But it isn't the way I want. Papa and Chris have done a great job watching over us. Now you get to join them, as you know it takes an Army to keep me and the kids straight. Just do me a favor, and always guide my babies, and watch over them as you always did me. As far as me, tomorrow will be harder than today. I always told you, I would lay you down beside Papa, and that's a promise I intend to keep. I love you and thank you for giving me some of the best memories a grandchild can have. Kiss my papa for me, for I miss you both dearly. I will always and forever be your pumpkin.

Aunt Corky , I'll never forget riding back from Ohio to Georgia with you and Uncle Larry , We had a great time .. I'll miss you ,and you will always be missed ...

Larry and Brenda, I am so sorry for your loss your mom Marilyn as she was a good woman to me and my family, and will be truly missed.  It is never easy losing a parent or loved one.  Just remember she loved you both, and she is no longer in pain.  She is in both of you, and you both are blessed.  I will miss her, and my heart and prayers are with you both.

Aunt Corky I wish that we had gotten to know each other.  I have heard that in your younger years you could be a little ornery, I also have been told that in my younger years I was the same way.  May you sing with the angels, dance in the streets of heaven, talk with Jesus for hours, while walking through his heavenly gardens.  Love you.

Mom how can I say this without breaking down. You were the backbone of the family. You raise two kids, cleaned house, iron clothes, fixed lunch, cooked dinner and still had time to tend to Brenda and me. I know that I have been gone for the most part of your life when I was in the military, but the last few years after retirement has broughten us closer together. I love you with all of my heart. I'm not going to say good-bye because we will be together again. One favor though, go easy on everyone in heaven. We all know how fiesty you can be. Say hello to grandpa, grandma, dad, and all of the other members of the Spring/Craine family. I miss you and love you mom.
