Martha Jean Holmes, age 70 of White, GA passed away on Friday, September 04, 2020. She was born on April 25, 1950 in Cartersville, GA to the late Elbert and Pauline Satterfield Alexander. Martha is preceded in death by her daughter, Shanna Jean Aguiar. She is survived by her husband, Randy Holmes; son, Robbie (Judy) Holmes; son-in-law, Leo Aguiar; grandsons, Billy Ray, Blake (Kaylie) Ray, Brent (Jessica) Ray; great-grandchildren, Sophia Ray, Macie Ray, Ryder Ray; brother, Roger (Debbie) Alexander; nieces and nephews, Josh (Rebekka), Aiden, Claire, Roan Alexander and Erin (Drew), Addelyn, Owen and Ella Prentice, several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on September 9, 2020 at Stamp Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Blackburn, Rev. Travis Davis and Rev. David Fowler officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery with Brent Ray, Randall Hayes, Ruben Guthrie, Robbie D. Holmes, Johnathan Shirley and Edward Huskins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Please visit www.owenfunerals.come to leave condolences for the family. Martha graduated with us, Class of 68 at Cass. She was always a quiet spoken person and was always nice to others.

Grew up knowing Martha Jean,friends as well as cousins.
Got to visit with her and Randy a few times before the virus hit. Will always cherish those visits.
