Martha Margaret McDonald

Mrs. McDonald was born August 22, 1939, in White, Georgia, daughter of the late Gus Walker and Bertha Vaughan Walker. She was retired from Union Carbide and was a devoted member of Peeples Valley Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; George L. McDonald; 2 sisters; June Culver and Edith Heath; a brother; Will Walker.

Survivors include sons & daughter-in-law; Charles & Cathy McDonald of Rome, Michael McDonald of Emerson; a daughter; Janie Eidson of Acworth; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon September 1st at 3:00 P.M. at the Peeples Valley Community Church with Rev. Larry Hufstetler and Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Jeremy Eidson, Daniel Eidson, Robert McDonald, Stephen Eidson, Matthew Morris, Patrick Cooney and Kevin Cooney. Honorary pallbearers include Johnny Martin and Jason Martin.
