Max Charles Mulkey

August 10, 1947April 13, 2021

Max Charles Mulkey, age 73 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was born in Fairmount, GA on August 10, 1947 to the late Charles Mulkey and Edna Pierce Mulkey.

Max is preceded in death by his son, Wesley Mulkey; sisters, Lavera Boring and Rena Gravley. He is survived by his wife, Joann Mulkey; daughter, Tereasa Mulkey; son, Tony (Christi) Mulkey; step-daughter, Crystal Hunt; step-son Kenneth Boring; grandchildren, Hayden Fowler, Dylan Wilhoite, Savannah Wilhoite, Trace Mulkey, Anslie Mulkey, Emma Mulkey, Titus Puckett, Triston Freeman; great-grandchildren, Zelda Fowler, Zander Fowler, Riley McDougal; sisters, Janice Mulkey and Rita (Barney) Holland.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday April 28, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating. The interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery Canton, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Max.
