Mrs. Hogan was born November 6, 1922, the daughter of the late, John Grady and Ida Mae (Elrod) McCoy and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Acworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Danny Charles Hogan and Larry Eugene Hogan and brothers, Harrison McCoy and John Grady Hogan, Jr.
Surviving are her children, Judy Hogan and Jackie Randall Hogan of Cartersville, David Michael Hogan of Hiawassee, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Sam and Harold McCoy of Kingston, Juanita Minter of Cleveland, Tenn., Martha Worley of Calhoun, Elizabeth Weatherston of Virginia and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Kennesaw City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
