Morris Milton Shinall

Mr. Shinall was born May 4, 1927 in Bartow County, Georgia, son of the late Thomas Walter Shinall and Mary Ada Morris Shinall. He was a lifelong resident of Cartersville and Bartow County and was retired from the Georgia State Patrol. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Mae Perkins Shinall; a son, Barry Shinall; sisters & brothers, Annie Shinall McIntyre, Therra Wilson, Dora Lee Hughes, Horace Shinall, Corinne Shinall Alexander.

Survivors include a daughter, Belinda Shinall Martin and husband Ken; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Shinall Carder and husband Ed; grandchildren, Jason Martin (Ed Dzialo), Tom Shinall (Elizabeth), Matt Shinall (Brielle), Samatha Turley (Steve) & family, Hilary Mantha (Nick); nieces & nephews, Lamar & Judy Hughes, Inez Easter; special brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Carl & Bobbie Perkins; cousins, Paul & Barbara Jane O’Neal; dear friend, Sue Bearden; many nieces, nephews, cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 22nd at 1:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Barnette officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home and also on Thursday from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will include Jason Martin, Tom Shinall, Matt Shinall, Ed Dzialo, Ed Carder, Danny Perkins.
