Murl David Silver

Mr. Silver was born April 24, 1927 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, son of the late Dennis and Florence Silver. He was the Owner of MD Silver Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and his hobbies included gardening and cutting grass. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Bell Silver; brothers, Marvin Silver and Burl Silver; sisters, Florene Bennett and Thelma Baker.

Survivors include his children, Danny Silver, Patsy Wilson, Brenda Gossett and husband Danny, Vickie Collum and husband Donald, Dennis Silver and wife Patricia, Gail Edwards and husband Larry, Tammy Craig and husband Rodney; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Laura Miller, Ann See, Grady Silver and Max Silver; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon October 30th at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Jackson and Rev. David Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
