Glenda and I have known Ernie since the mid 1960's. She was both our friend and co-worker, even taking a part in our wedding in July, 1967.  She was also my first employee to supervise.  Needless to say she was a great employee and worked smart and tirelessly. While our ways parted in the mid 1970's, we stayed in touch and Ernie even made one trip for a visit to our home in Ohio. Glenda talked with her frequently over the last few years. Ernie was a wonderful individual who was the kind of friend that anyone would be proud to have. There will be an empty place in our hearts when we think of her. Our sympathies to Larry, Bethie and Joy.

I was so sorry to hear about Ernie's passing away. We grew up together and enjoyed so many good times. We will all miss her so much. I saw her at our old Rome High reunion last year and it was wonderful to see her. She looked great! You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this sad time. With my love and deepest sympathy.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ernie's passing.  Please accept my most sincere condolences.  I had known Ernie for 57 years (maybe more) and knew her to be a good and kind, salt-of-the-earth person.  She will definitely liven heaven up a bit, and she will sorely be missed by this world.
