Opal Faye Cobb,90 of Cartersville Georgia, passed from her Earthly home surrounded by family and friends on January 29th, 2019. Faye was born November 11, 1928 in Fork Ridge, TN to the late Mr. Arthur Smith and Mrs. Mary Medley Smith.

Mrs. Cobb actively attended her church, The Church at Liberty Square, until failing health. Her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother were accomplished with wisdom and grace. In her leisure time, she enjoyed various crafts including silk flower arranging; flower gardening; traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Hobart L. Cobb, and her youngest daughter, Lisa.

She is survived by daughters Pamela (Michael) Smith, Shelia (Don) Jackson, and Debra Rudasics. Mrs. Cobb has three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Friday February 1, 2019 at six o'clock in the evening in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Reverends Dale Murray, Dr.Jacob King, and Don Slider officiating.

The family cordially invites friends to visit at Owen Funeral Home Friday, February 1, 2019 from four o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour.
