Patricia Padgett Chastain

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chastain Sr., daughter, Tamela Chastain, parents, Johnny and Jessie Padgett and sister, Evelyn Howren. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Robby Chastain and Carrie Chastain of Fairmount; one grandson, Larkin Chastain, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pat was saved at an early age during revival services at the old Liberty Hill Schoolhouse and was a devoted member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She spent many years supporting her husband in the homebuilding business and later became a real estate agent for several brokers in the Bartow County area. She loved gospel music and sang for many years with her family.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Padgett officiating. The entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. Larkin Chastain, Griffin Padgett, Tony Burt, Jeff Southern, Steve Southern and Chris Howren will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
