

Paul Myron Aiken, age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 20, 2022. Son of the late Oscar Aiken and Lois Emmett Aiken, Paul was born on November 23, 1931 in Braselton, Georgia.
Paul was involved in music throughout his entire life. He enjoyed playing the fiddle and also bass guitar. He was a member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame and the Atlanta Society of Entertainers. He was a licensed pilot and would often fly his Cherokee 140, which he was proud of.
Paul worked at the Atlanta Printing Finishers, Inc. for over thirty-five years. He proudly served in The United States Army as military police during the Korean War. Paul was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by sons, Jerry Aiken and Stephen Aiken and sister, Pauline Lewis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jackie (Pinkard) Aiken; son, Terry Aiken; stepson, Lee Freeman; grandsons, Houston (Carlie) Freeman and Justin Freeman; granddaughters, Katherine Lee, Megan Aiken and Micaela Aiken; four great grandsons; two great granddaughters; brothers-in-law, Harold (Brenda) Pinkard and Gary (Faye) Pinkard.
Friends are cordially invited for visitation on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Dr. Cartersville, GA 30120.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00am at Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, 1971 Hog Mountain Rd NE, Dacula, GA 30019.
