Paulette Urbanski Campbell of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, September 13, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Walter and Phyllis Urbanski of Rome, NY. Paulette is survived by her son Joseph Perfetti living in Columbia, MD, by her daughter Kimberly (Doug) Shook of Cartersville, GA, and several cousins. She loved animals, her Collie Bailey and all her grand pups. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Bob Urbanski.
Paulette graduated from Rome Catholic High School in 1967. She also attended Hudson Valley Community College. Paulette led a career selling insurance for over 20 years. She was also active in the community and had a tremendous spirit of volunteerism. Paulette was a member and served as president of the St Vincent de Paul Society at the Basilica of St. Peter in Columbia, SC for over 20 years.
Paulette was a person that would leave an impression on anyone that was lucky enough to have met her. She loved to travel with her son. Her most treasured experience was attending Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. She also walked the Great Wall of China and enjoyed her trips to London, Paris and Barcelona.
A service in her honor will be held at the Basilica of St. Peter in Columbia, SC on Saturday September 25 at 1:30pm. There will be a reception following the service.
Paulette’s final resting place will be at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Rome, NY, where a graveside service will be held at a future date. Friends are invited to attend.
