

Pilin Lin, age 70, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on July 10, 2026. She was born April 10, 1956, in Taipei, Taiwan, and was the daughter of the late Amy and Huan-Jung Lin. She immigrated to the United States of America in 1983 and became a citizen in 1990.
In 2002, Pilin opened A Plus Cleaners at 207 East Felton Road and served as a vital part of the Cartersville community for more than two decades. Through her business, she provided cleaning and tailoring services with genuine care, touching the lives of many as she devoted herself to helping and serving those around her. Through her work as a seamstress, she celebrated many milestones alongside the neighbors and families who depended on her, remaining a steady presence in their lives until she retired in her later years.
Pilin is survived by her two sons, Peter and Jim, daughters-in-law Jenn and Rebecca, her cherished grandchildren Leo and Mae, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pilin was passionate, a steady pillar for those around her, and devoted her life to her family, caring for her mother until her passing in November 2025. She was skilled in horticulture, hosted family get-togethers, and lived a well-traveled life.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Owens Funeral Home in Cartersville. In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tzu Chi USA or a charity of your choice.
