Robin Lorraine (Clevenger) Lucca, 66, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on October 29, 2026, leaving behind a family shaped by her strength, enriched by her kindness, and forever changed by her love.
Robin was a woman of remarkable strength, fierce determination, and a generous heart. She faced adversity with resourcefulness and resolve, and embraced others with genuine compassion, accepting people exactly as they are, without prejudice or judgment.
Born in California to Cmdr. Redmond L. Clevenger, USN (Ret.), and Mary Ann (Hambacher) Clevenger, Robin grew up a proud Navy brat, moving with her family before they eventually settled in the Boston area.
Robin later moved to Central Florida, where she raised her children and built a successful career in hospitality management. Never afraid of a new challenge, she returned to school, earned her degree, and began a second career in medical coding, where she once again rose into management. Her success in both fields reflected the determination, intelligence, and resourcefulness that defined her.
Among the greatest blessings of Robin's life was finding in Milton a love that was as passionate as it was enduring. Throughout their 29 years of marriage, they shared an extraordinary devotion to one another, never losing the affection that brought them together. They built a life and family grounded in that love, giving each other the happiest years of their lives.
Robin had a lifelong love of history and was an avid reader with an endless curiosity about the world. Deeply sentimental, she cherished family memories, treasured traditions, and delighted in creating new ones. She loved opening her home, bringing generations together, and filling it with the warmth and laughter of family.
In her later years, Robin made her home in Cartersville, Georgia, drawn by the beauty of the nearby mountains and the opportunity to be close to family. There, she found particular joy in being Grandma/Abuela. She loved taking her grandchildren on field trips and adventures, hearing tales of their latest hijinks, and spoiling them without apology.
Robin is survived by her beloved husband, Milton Lucca; her children, Leonard Downes III, Michael (Courtney) Gray, Christine (James) Pinkley, Camille Hawley, Andrea (David) Ramsey, Marisa Lucca, and Jordan Lucca; her cherished grandchildren, Madi, Knox, Norah, Miles, Amelia, Skyler, Hunter, Ember, Timber, Ella, and Zachariah; her sisters, Eleanora "Ellie" (Kenneth) Ames and Ivy (Raymond) Muldoon; and her brother, Redmond (Kaori) Clevenger Jr. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Commander Redmond L. Clevenger and Mary Ann (Hambacher) Clevenger, and her infant son, David Jr.
Robin's greatest legacy lives in the family she loved and the qualities she passed on: strength in adversity, kindness without judgment, and a love that knew no conditions. Her influence will be felt for generations in the lives of those who carry a part of her with them.
Memorial arrangements will be announced by the family.
